Signage & banners can be hung and must be approved prior to event with City Center representative. No items shall be attached (taped, tacked, etc) or propped up against any walls.
US Security is the provider of security services at the City Center. Their services include security for overnight, loading docks, crowd control and events with alcohol. Your City Center event planner will make arrangements for security whether requested by the contracting client or as a City Center requirement.
The City Center does not provide personnel for these services. You may contract any group of your choosing to perform badge checking, ushering or ticket taking at your event. For certain conventions Discover Saratoga may be able to offer assistance.
For rigging in the Main Hall, Meeting Room 1 & Meeting Room 2 the services of IATSE must be hired. Contact your event planner for contact information.
The Convention Center has a limited number of easels for your use. Please make arrangements with your AV Company or Decorator signage needs. The City Center does have digital meeting signs in the lobby and second floor foyer, which can be programmed to reflect your various events. Please contact your Event Manager for more details.
In order to keep our building looking its best, affixing materials (tape, staples, nails, stickers, etc.…) to any wall or window surfaces within or on the outside of the Convention Center is strictly prohibited. Should any materials be placed on the walls, you will be charged a removal and/or damage fee in accordance with the quantity of materials and amount of damage caused to the wall.
Event-related banners may be displayed in various locations inside the City Center. Please inquire with your event planner as to where banners may be hung and any fees that may be incurred.
The Convention Center DOES NOT have a shipping and receiving department. All freight should arrive no earlier than your first contracted move in day and must be signed for by the event decorator or client. All early deliveries will be refused. Should you have any special shipping needs, please contact the event decorator.
A/V equipment and services are not provided by our Facility. To contract A/V services, you may contact our preferred provider Link to preferred audio visual providers.
The City Center Main Hall can be used for the display of vehicles. Arrangements must be made in advance of the move in day with your event planner. The vehicle access overhead door clearance is a height max of 13 feet. Wheels must be placed on wheel-boards. The use of silicone products/wheel cleaners in the building is prohibited.
Convention Center site visits are commonly conducted and may occur within contracted space. please contact your Events Manager for more an appointment.
Vendors must obtain advance approval from the City Center for the distribution and/or sale of any food or beverages. No alcoholic beverages may be served or distributed by any vendor.
