April Showers
Wednesday, May 4th, 2011They say April Showers bring May flowers, but they also put a damper on construction. The majority of the work left to be done on the City Center expansion is on the exterior of the building. Panels are going up to finish off each entry way, along with the glass for the lighted main entry and the new lettering on the canopy.
As the interior construction comes to a close, other renovation projects will start, making our existing spaces just as exciting as our new spaces. Our Main Hall is expected to get an overhaul, with a new sound system in the works, as well as some acoustical upgrades.
Construction Offices
Thursday, March 31st, 2011As construction comes to a close, all of the trailers have left the parking lot. But with some work left to do, the construction crew has been very creative creating their own desk space…

Recycling at it's best! These letters came off of the building before the old side entrance was torn down, this week they are being placed on the Maple Ave side of the building.
Coming to an end
Wednesday, March 16th, 2011Construction here at the City Center is coming to an end. On the schedule for this week and next week are various inspections of the new systems, and the removal of some of the construction trailers.
The only thing left to complete is some of the outside work that requires some warmer weather.
Public events coming up include the NEACA Arms Fair (March 19-20), a Presentation on Saratoga's Urban Renewal (March 22) and the Woodworkers Showcase (March 26-27). Stop in and check out the new City Center!
Also on tap for the end of March… the NYS Athletic Administrators (March 16-17), The Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau Annual Meeting (March 23), Empire State College All College Conference (March 23-24), Curtis Lumber Trade Show ( March 28-29) and the NYS Art Teachers Olympics of the Visual Arts (March 30).

Friday, February 18th, 2011The southwest entry (corner of EJP and Maple Ave… or up the stairs from the parking lot) is now open for use!
In Event News… The Annual Dance Flurry is this weekend, with every ounce of City Center space being used. Check out the lobby all nice and shiny for the weekend.
